On February 28, in the rape field of Tianjia Village, Mituo Town, the Taihu Lake County, the plant protection UAV shuttled back and forth in the air, and fine droplets were evenly sprayed on the rape plants. What is going on here is flight control, spraying boron fertilizer and fungicide on rape leaves.
The flight defense aircraft holds the remote control in hand to command the takeoff and landing of the UAV at the edge of the field. The UAV flies and sprays according to the preset trajectory. The technical staff of the town’s agricultural and rural center guided: “The method of secondary dilution should be used to prepare the medicine to prevent the insufficient dissolution and uneven distribution of the medicine from causing nozzle blockage and drug damage. The aircraft should set a suitable flight height, avoid obstacles such as wires, control the drift distance of the medicine liquid, and prevent spraying on non-target crops.”
In less than four hours, nearly 100 acres of rape were sprayed, and the grower, Brother Ma, said with satisfaction, “The efficiency of applying the flight defense technology is much higher than that of manual work, and it also saves costs. If you use manual spraying, it will cost at least 1200 yuan, and the drone will be enough.”
Wang Lei, the pilot of the flight defense, said: “I have two plant protection drones, which are specialized in socialized services. They can not only produce pesticides, but also fertilize and sow seeds. Last year, the operating area was more than 10000 mu. In the next few days, there are several large rape planting families waiting for me to produce boron fertilizer and pesticides.”
Agriculture meets high technology, saving labor and increasing benefits. UAV flight defense has inserted the wings of science and technology into agriculture and provided strong support for spring farming production and high-quality development of agriculture.
