Zaoyang, Hubei Province: UAV flight defense and wide coverage technology help wheat harvest

People are diligent, and spring comes early. In recent days, all parts of Zaoyang City, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province have carried out the work of preparing for cultivation in spring to lay a good foundation for agricultural production in the new year. In the demonstration field of the green and high-quality development project of grain production in Nangaozhuang Village, Taiping Town, the plant protection UAV hovered at low altitude and was spraying foliage fertilizer, presenting a busy picture of preparing for spring cultivation.

Six plant protection drones spray foliar fertilizer under the operation of the machine. In a few minutes, a large area of wheat field will be sprayed.

Zaoyang City is one of the major grain-producing counties in Hubei Province. The total grain output of the city has been stable at more than 2.5 billion jin in recent years.

Zaoyang City will also spend more than 8 million yuan to implement the “one spray and three prevention” full coverage of wheat to ensure the increase of summer grain production and income.
