When it comes to how to grow vegetables, everyone can more or less provide some answers.Sowing, thinning, weeding, fertilization… Different crop types require different crop management methods in order to produce good vegetables. In addition, can we save time and reduce costs through some modern technological means? In 2020, the Bosch China Charity Center collaborated with the Beijing Leping Public Welfare Foundation Trust Farm to provide a series of modern technical support to local farmers in the planting village of Caogoubao, Yuxian County, Hebei Province for two years to help them grow vegetables better:1. Mobile phone production record mini programUse the production record mini program to manage field operation records. It is clear what fertilizer was used, when it was used, and how much was used. Not only can farmers better search for records and accumulate a foundation for planting in the coming year, but they can also increase vegetable production information and increase vegetable premiums.22.png2. Field sensorsSensors scattered throughout the field can collect various key data that affect crop growth, such as local soil, temperature, humidity, air, and so on. The collected data will be fed back to farmers to guide planting. For example, if the soil fertility is low, it needs to be supplemented with fertilizer; If the air humidity is too high, drainage can be done appropriately to reduce humidity.23.png3. DroneUsing the traditional medicine box method, one person can apply medicine to up to 10 acres of land per day. If we switch to drones, one person can spray medicine on at least 50 acres of land per day, which not only saves labor and costs, but also makes it easier and more convenient. In addition, there are various training and technical guidance, as well as other technical means that can help local farmers achieve modern planting.
