In 2023, Hunan initially plans to have a grain planting area of over 71.35 million mu, and to establish around 300 standardized seedling breeding bases to ensure a stable area of 13.5 million mu for centralized early rice seedling cultivation. It is reported that the province strives to achieve 7 million acres of specialized early rice and 16 million acres of high-end high-quality mid to late rice, respectively. At the same time, we will promote the development of 3 million acres of regenerated rice, 1.06 million acres of corn and soybean belt compound planting, and vigorously develop characteristic dry and miscellaneous grains.
