We have implanted water and fertilizer sensing facilities and meteorological monitoring devices in the fields, and uploaded data from multifunctional weather stations, integrated water and fertilizer machines, and near ground remote sensing drones and other IoT devices to the big data platform through a 5G network, achieving automation in chili planting management. Wang Ruofei used to be a senior executive at a technology company in Shenzhen. I am the descendant of a farmer, and my family has been farming for generations. Seeing that it is not easy for my fellow villagers to farm, I hope to one day use advanced equipment and technology to liberate them from the arduous and tiring agricultural work. During my time in Shenzhen, I mainly engaged in the business of intelligent sensors. With a deeper understanding of intelligent sensor technology, I feel that this new technology can be applied to agricultural production, so I chose chili pepper planting as a pilot, allowing technology to empower chili peppers Industry, supporting rural revitalization Wang Ruofei said. In 2019, Wang Ruofei returned to Luohe and established Henan Yimin Holdings Co., Ltd.
After the establishment of the company, Wang Ruofei led a team to overcome difficulties and use digital technology to develop a big data precision agriculture solution of “5G+intelligent equipment+big data computing+refined services” in less than a year. He created a 5G smart chili planting application base covering thousands of acres, achieving large-scale development and digital upgrading of chili planting, reducing water, fertilizer, medicine, and labor costs by 50%, Changed the traditional mode of chili pepper cultivation.
After development, Henan Yimin Holdings Co., Ltd. now has over 40 professional and technical talents, over 50 patents, and soft works. It has become a leading agricultural high-tech enterprise centered on modern chili planting technology, focusing on the seven key links of the chili industry: “planting, management, harvesting, processing, storage, sales, and service”, and promoting the digital upgrading of the entire chili industry chain.
