In terms of major projects, the “Yunnan National Plateau Wild Rice Germplasm Resource Nursery Project” undertaken by the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences for the Modern Seed Industry Improvement Project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has been approved. Two central and local special projects have been approved, including the “Construction of Plateau Characteristic Agricultural Product Processing Technology Innovation Center” and the “Demonstration of Green Quality and Efficiency Enhancement Technology Model for Potatoes in Wumeng Mountain Area”. The “Innovation and Application of Nitrogen Reduction, Capacity Increase, and Loss Control Technology in Farmland” integration has created a complete set of technologies for livestock and poultry manure from collection to initial processing to organic fertilizer, as well as a crop ecological planting, planting, and breeding integrated circular agriculture technology for efficient nitrogen utilization, supporting the development of modern agriculture with distinctive characteristics in the Yunnan Plateau and creating a world-class “green food brand”.
