Laixi: The mechanization rate of grain crops exceeds 95%

The information such as harvest area, track and progress can be viewed at any time through the mobile phone terminal. As soon as the Combine harvester is full, the operating system will send out a grain unloading command, followed by a grain unloading truck, which will collect and unload grain at the same time. The two are seamlessly connected, greatly improving the efficiency of harvesting and transporting grain.

Not only on wheat harvesters, but also on corn seeders, the Beidou navigation system has played a huge role. Beidou’s multi-sensor information fusion positioning technology accurately plans the driving route of agricultural machinery in advance, and the sowing error can be controlled within 2.5 centimeters, improving land use efficiency by 3% -5%, and increasing yield by over 100 kilograms per acre.

Speaking of the new machines and tools and new technologies produced in this year’s “Three Summers”, Ding Yongqing, the head of Laixi Agricultural Technology Station, said: “From wheat joint harvesting to straw stubble removal and mixed soil returning to the field, and then to corn matching precision sowing, the whole process of mechanization has been achieved, and the integration of science and technology in agriculture has become increasingly high.”

“Nowadays, intelligent agricultural machines and tools have gradually become the protagonist of summer harvest, and ‘busy farming without people’ is gradually becoming the norm. Mechanized agricultural production is accelerating towards digitalization, intelligence, and precision.” Wang Zhaoli, head of the Machinery Section of Laixi Agricultural and Rural Bureau, said.

In recent years, as a demonstration city of Mechanised agriculture in Shandong Province, Laixi City has actively promoted the operation mode of “Internet plus agricultural machinery”, relying on new business entities, and has successively introduced “hard core” equipment such as unmanned driving, Beidou navigation equipment and green efficient seeding machinery. The scope and scene of intelligent application of agricultural machinery has been expanding.

“At present, there are more than 2000 UAVs for plant protection, Beidou navigation harvesters, and subsoiling monitoring equipment in the city, which are widely used in wheat harvesting, stubble cleaning, subsoiling farmland, plant protection and other fields.” Wang Zhaoli introduced that through the promotion of intelligent agricultural machinery, the comprehensive mechanization rate of major grain crops in Laixi City has reached more than 95%, which can save more than 8% of seeds per mu of land compared with traditional farming technology, and increase the output by more than 8%, More than 20% improvement in efficiency compared to ordinary mechanical operations.
