On the afternoon of December 10, 2022, the Special Police Brigade of Lushan County Public Security Bureau officially launched a police drone patrol mode, adopting a combination of road patrol and air patrol to enhance the effectiveness of urban patrol and prevention and control, in order to comprehensively assist in improving the work pattern of “strike prevention and control construction”, effectively strengthen social patrol prevention and emergency response work, and effectively deter illegal and criminal activities.

In order to meet the needs of current patrol work, the Lushan County Public Security Bureau is based on practical work, relying on urban police booths, integrating resources, concentrating six drones, establishing a drone patrol squadron, and specially inviting technical personnel from Dajiang drone company to provide technical and practical training for special police officers who operate drone patrols.

Police drones have effectively innovated a new mode of air patrol, leveraging the advantages of wide angle, fast speed, and flexible angle of air patrol. They can ensure timely detection of police situations and various unexpected events, rush to the scene as soon as possible, handle them quickly, and minimize the impact and losses; Fully leveraging the advantages of digital command, digital investigation, digital prevention and control, and digital management, we aim to combine traditional and modern patrol modes, transform from planar to three-dimensional monitoring, and meet the comprehensive needs of point, line, surface, and maintenance in police work. We will play a greater role in patrol prevention and control, large-scale security, case handling, suspect pursuit, disaster relief and rectification, and provide strong technological support for patrol work, Effectively improving the effectiveness of public security organs in prevention and control.

The establishment of the drone squadron of the Lushan County Public Security Bureau and the launch of drone patrols mark the initial establishment of a three-dimensional patrol prevention and control system with full coverage of air and ground in the Lushan County Public Security Bureau, which will further enhance the social control capabilities of the public security organs.
