At present, Shouguang has 173000 vegetable greenhouses, with an annual planting area of 600000 acres and an annual output of 4.5 million tons. According to Zhang Linlin, deputy director of Shouguang Vegetable Industry Development Center, Shouguang vegetable industry cluster has made great efforts to develop green production technology, focusing on weight loss, drug reduction and water saving. Through green production technologies such as Biological pest control, integration of water and fertilizer, soil testing and formula fertilization, Shouguang vegetable industry has been promoted to achieve green planting. At the same time, Shouguang Vegetable Industry Development Center has also carried out large-scale standardized production training for the people from 2019, promoted green production technology, and planted the concept of green production in the hearts of the people, thus driving the green transformation of agricultural planting in the whole region.
