Agricultural drones lead the promotion of high-quality development of modern agriculture in Honghu Lake

In order to improve the level of operator operation, enhance operator safety awareness, and ensure the safe use of drones in agricultural production, on August 8th, the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Honghu City held a training session on agricultural drone safety operation technology. More than 60 agricultural drone operators in Honghu City participated in the training.

The training is practical and the teaching content is detailed and comprehensive. The teacher’s explanations are detailed and vivid, achieving good results. The trainees stated that this training was very timely, and everyone benefited greatly and was deeply inspired. They should apply the knowledge they learned to practical operations. Zhu Dianfa, the chairman of Fengshun Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative in Honghu City, led three Da Jiang machine operators of the cooperative to participate in the training. He brought the courseware he learned back and prepared to conduct a safety production knowledge training at the cooperative in the near future, so that the safety awareness of the cooperative members could be deeply ingrained in their minds and ensure the safety of agricultural machinery operation.

The application of agricultural drones has changed the production mode of modern agriculture in Honghu City. Drones have the advantages of time-saving, efficient, safe and reliable, convenient operation, and flexible practicality, and are widely welcomed and recognized by farmers. Yu Guoguo, Deputy Director of the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Honghu City, introduced that in recent years, Honghu City has vigorously implemented policies such as agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, agricultural machinery operation subsidies, and agricultural socialized service projects. The development of agricultural drones is very rapid, and the number of agricultural drones in Honghu City has reached 112. The operating area in the Honghu area monitored on the Beidou Agricultural Machinery Information Management Platform in Hubei Province exceeds 1.1 million acres. Next, the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Honghu City will continue to increase publicity and education efforts, strengthen the construction of agricultural drone talent team, and assist in the high-quality development of modern agriculture in Honghu City.
