In recent years, Qingshen County has vigorously promoted agricultural production mechanization, strengthened agricultural technology services, effectively ensured food security, and promoted sustained income growth for farmers. This year, the County Agriculture and Rural Bureau carefully organized the rice harvesting service work, identified the actual area of mechanized rice harvesting in advance, understood the needs of farmers and large growers for mechanized harvesting, guided agricultural machinery professional cooperatives and agricultural machinery large households to repair and maintain 33 sets of various harvesting machinery, introduced more than 200 sets of cross regional operation combine harvesters, and ensured the high-quality and efficient completion of the autumn grain harvesting work in Qingshen County, ensuring the return of rice particles to the warehouse.
During the rice harvesting season, farmers harvest rice that is susceptible to mold and spoilage due to limited drying space and rainy weather, which can affect subsequent sales. To this end, the New Rural Village Collective collaborates with the Haobing Planting Family Farm in Qingshen County to revitalize the existing 10 acres of construction land and create a new rural village level industrial medicinal material and grain deep processing secondary processing project through capital or resource investment. The existing production equipment can dry 100 tons of rice per day. The construction of the drying center not only solves the problem of farmers’ difficulty in drying rice, but also is expected to increase the collective economic income of the village by 200000 yuan annually.
Mechanized harvesting and mechanized drying are both vivid practices in Qingshen County that strengthen scientific and technological support, store grain in the ground, store grain in technology, and ensure food production safety.
