It is reported that after the establishment of the “Key Technology Research and Pilot Study on the Fertilization Application of Rosa roxburghii Residue” project, research and development on the fertilization technology of Rosa roxburghii residue will be carried out. Through the implementation of this project, key technologies such as pre-treatment of Rosa roxburghii residue, carbonization of Rosa roxburghii seeds, screening and optimization of biological strains for Rosa roxburghii residue composting, rapid composting of Rosa roxburghii residue in a tank, and preparation of new carbon based active organic fertilizer will be completed, We have developed research contents such as operating procedures and production process technologies for the production and processing of prickly pear residue organic fertilizer. We have solved key technologies for prickly pear residue pretreatment, screening and optimization of biological strains in prickly pear residue composting, rapid composting in prickly pear residue tank, and pilot production and sales of prickly pear residue organic fertilizer products.
Among them, in combination with the fertilization requirements of Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group’s 10000 mu high standard vegetable supply base, this project focuses on conducting research on the pilot production and processing operating procedures and standards of prickly pear residue matrix organic fertilizer. In terms of the development of organic fertilizer for prickly pear residue, bio organic fertilizer and biochar based organic fertilizer have been developed, and the two began field trials in November 2021. A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of organic fertilizer from prickly pear residue on the yield and quality of Chinese cabbage and peacock vegetable. The results showed that applying prickly pear residue bio organic fertilizer and prickly pear residue biochar based organic fertilizer separately, compared with conventional composite fertilizer, prickly pear residue organic fertilizer can help activate the soil, reduce fertilizer usage, and significantly improve the yield and quality of Chinese cabbage and peacock vegetable. “Yang Xuan said that in the process of promoting the project, Guizhou University was responsible for technical summary and talent cultivation, Guizhou Haike Industrial Development Co., Ltd. is responsible for industrialization implementation and application promotion.
