At present, our city’s rice has entered a critical period of growth. In order to ensure high yield and quality of rice production, our city has promoted the use of efficient, convenient, and intelligent vegetation drones for unified prevention and control of rice, strengthened agricultural disaster prevention and reduction, and successfully fought the key battle of “insect eating for food” to save costs and increase income for rice planting.
At the rice planting base in Qijing Village, Hexi Town, contiguous areas of rice are lush and emitting an intoxicating green atmosphere. On the field path, technicians carefully prepared pesticides and loaded them into containers on the drone. With the rotation of the rotor, the drone quickly took off under the operation of the staff, flying, circling, taking off and landing above the rice field, and spraying uniform white clouds downwards. The drone spraying operation was of good quality and high efficiency, and completed the spraying task of nearly 800 acres of rice in less than a day.
At present, it is a crucial period for the unified control of crops. The Jingshan Rice Planting Cooperative in Hexi Town has planted a total of 1500 acres of rice. In previous years, rice farmers were the busiest during this period, but this year they have leisurely become commanders on the ground.
Due to the impact of early weather conditions, there is a high possibility of rice diseases and pests occurring this year. To ensure that the rice production in the city reaches the expected target yield, the Municipal Agricultural Technology Promotion Center organizes professional technical personnel to visit various fields and guide local farmers in disease and pest prevention and control work. At the same time, technical prevention measures are carried out in concentrated planting areas of large farmers.
