“With a load of 30 liters, 1.5 liters of water are generally used per mu, and 15 mu of water is sprayed in one sortie, which is much higher than the artificial efficiency. Moreover, the size of water mist can be adjusted, and the amount of water used will be increased in the places with heavy insect pests, and reduced in the light ones…”
With the buzzing sound of the motor, the plant protection UAV hovered over the wheat field, setting off bursts of “green waves”. Xia Xingjian skillfully operated, and the UAV entered the operation area according to the set route. Before long, the pests and diseases pesticide was accurately and evenly sprayed on more than 3000 mu of winter wheat crops in the base.
Nowadays, more and more large farmers adopt this method to carry out field management, and Sihong Planting Professional Cooperative introduced plant protection UAV four years ago. “In the past two years, it has been popularized in a large area, and people’s recognition has also increased year by year.” Xia Xingjian said that the use of plant protection drones for flight defense operations can greatly reduce the cost of labor, time and other resources, and the prevention and control of pests and diseases is more thorough, efficient and effective.
