UAV fertilization and medication

With digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence showing off in agricultural production, this year’s spring farming production is even more promising.

Jiangsu wheat is sown around 35 million mu annually, equivalent to the total area of 3.2 million standard football fields. To complete the monitoring of seedlings in such a large area of wheat fields, our scientific researchers have made new explorations. Let’s see, behind me is the Jiangsu Province Agricultural and Rural Big Data Command Center. Through the big screen, the situation of wheat fields and seedlings is clear at a glance. Relying on the national scientific and technological innovation platform – Nanjing National Agricultural Innovation Center – through big data analysis, farmland information collection has achieved uninterrupted remote operation throughout the year.

Based on the growth data monitored by satellite remote sensing and the algorithm for retrieving the seedling condition, we can evaluate the seedling condition of each winter wheat plot in the province. In the figure, we are divided into four levels from green to orange, representing Wangchangmiao, Class I, Class II, and Class III seedlings. From the figure, we can see that the overall growth of the province is still good.
