In the wheat field of Jiangzhuang Village, Zaochun Township, Huaxian County, the robot operator is operating a plant protection drone to “spray multiple preventions” on square pieces of wheat. After mixing pesticides, fungicides, and growth regulators, they are sprayed once by a plant protection drone to achieve the effects of insect prevention, disease prevention, and yield increase.

“Chen Dang, a villager of Jiangzhuang Village, Zaochun Township, Huaxian County, said, ‘I planted 22 acres of land, and it usually takes me a day to use manual labor. At this time, I use drones to inject medicine in over ten minutes, which saves time and effort.'”
Compared with traditional plant protection methods, UAV flight prevention has the advantages of accurate spray, high efficiency, environmental protection, time-saving and labor-saving. Normally, under the operation of professional pilots, drones can fly over 600-1000 acres of farmland every day, with an efficiency more than 20 times that of manual labor, saving drugs, water, and labor.

Chen Lifei, a plant protection drone operator, said, “I have now received orders for more than 200 acres of land. The drone has a good atomization effect and fast flight operations, which are relatively popular with farmers.”

Liu Zhao, an agricultural technician, said, “This time, you can add regulators, which can improve a seed yield. The second is to add pesticides, which can effectively control aphids. The third is to add some fungicides, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of sheath blight. In this way, you can effectively prevent insects and diseases, thereby achieving an increase in production.”

While using science and technology to assist in spring management, Huaxian County also organizes agricultural technicians to go deep into the field to guide farmers in field management, laying a solid foundation for stable and increased wheat production. At present, the wheat seedling condition of 1.812 million mu in the county is better than that of the same period of the year.
