To ensure the effectiveness of plant protection, the college has carefully studied and determined the optimal operating parameters in terms of flight operation routes, operation area waypoints and flight heights, flight sorties selection, and pesticide spraying capacity loads. During the operation, the plant protection drone evenly sprays the atomized medicine onto the crops.The homework process is fast and efficient, ensuring quality and quantity, and has received unanimous praise from the masses. The college provided free drone plant protection spraying services for Dongli Village, and conducted over 60 flight spraying operations, completing pesticide spraying operations on approximately 200 acres of farmland in three major grain growing households. The spraying area is equivalent to the amount of manual spraying by 30 farmers for a day. The drone plant protection system has formed a sharp contrast with manual spraying by farmers in terms of operational efficiency and quality. Drone plant protection has reduced the burden on farmers, reduced costs, improved efficiency, and achieved precise operation management and remote control goals.It is understood that the college will start offering drone technology application programs based on the installation and maintenance of electrical automation equipment in 2022, becoming the first school in Tai’an City to offer drone technology applications, providing assistance for local economic construction and increasing farmers’ production and income.
