Research on Air Traffic Management and Surveillance Technology of Agricultural Drones

With the development and progress of the times, science and technology are also constantly developing, and various advanced equipment is gradually emerging. Among them, the development of agricultural drones is relatively rapid, and they have been applied in various fields such as surveying, survey, photography, and have played a significant role. Agricultural drones, due to their convenient use and simple structure, gradually undertake a certain amount of work in various fields of agriculture. They constantly change their posture to adapt to the actual environment through calculations such as sensors and surrounding parameter changes, thereby ensuring flight safety. Therefore, the article explores the safe use of agricultural drones from two aspects: air traffic management and monitoring technology, and proposes solutions.

Agricultural drone systems are increasingly being used globally, but they are not defined in a coherent manner within a decentralized regulatory framework. These aircraft have a wide range of applications (infrastructure damage inspection and monitoring, monitoring of natural disasters such as floods, atmospheric data collection for weather forecasting, farmland exploration, etc.). In the future, they can also be used for agricultural planting and pesticide spraying for pest control. Highly automated agricultural drone technology is now maturing and has significant potential for growth and job creation. It is predicted that in the next 10 years, the value of the UAS market may account for 10% of the aviation market, which is 15 billion euros per year. However, civilian UAS come in various shapes and sizes, and their integration with other manned aircraft in airspace is a real challenge.
