China Yituo Group has gone through more than 60 years of ups and downs, from ushering in a new era of agricultural machinery in China, to accompanying innovation in the reform and opening up industry, to breaking records and maintaining a leading position in the Chinese agricultural machinery industry.
In 2023, this is a glorious moment for Jia Zi, and it is also a continuation and opening up for Jia Zi. Sixty years ago, the “Dongfanghong” tractor was born in a newly built workshop on the wilderness. Sixty years later, the “Dongfanghong” tractor was successfully exported to 44 countries overseas.
In 1950, it was China in a state of waste waiting to be revived. In order to solve the food problem for 400 million people, agriculture urgently needs mechanized “arms”, and the central government has mobilized nationwide efforts to build tractor factories. In less than three years, the builders built workshops and factories on the wilderness, using the phrase ‘heaven is like a blanket and earth is like a bed’.
The first Dongfanghong tractor was born in 1958. Most of the workers who built this tractor have never seen what the tractor looks like. These young people from all over the world, despite their rudimentary equipment, insufficient raw materials, and even a shortage of living materials, wielded hammers and sweated profusely, dedicating their youth to the domestic tractor industry.
On the vast land, the Dongfanghong tractor uses the precise Beidou satellite navigation system to draw flat geometric patterns without driving. Compared with traditional sowing methods, Dongfanghong intelligent agricultural machinery can not only accurately sow according to pre-set sowing routes, but also achieve full mechanization of laying drip irrigation belts and plastic films, with a straight-line error of no more than 2 centimeters.
In this way, not only can more than half of the cotton seeds be saved, but also the land utilization rate is improved, and convenience is provided for later mechanized field operations and picking. Cotton grower Chen Xiaoping said, “I planted 100 acres of cotton this year, and now I use the Dongfanghong tractor to plow, rake, and sow in only half a day
On March 10, 2023, with the arrival of the third batch of Dongfanghong intelligent tractors, China Yituo has delivered 45 Dongfanghong high-power intelligent tractors to Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group. This batch of intelligent agricultural machinery has a horsepower range of 220 and 320 horsepower respectively, equipped with unmanned driving systems and autonomous driving assistance systems, and will be used for precise operations in the cultivation of crops such as corn and soybeans by Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group.
Only by constantly strengthening and supporting the construction of the national key laboratory in the field of agricultural machinery and equipment, the National Engineering Research Center, the National Technology Innovation Center, etc., can we support the development of new innovation entities; Further optimize agricultural machinery subsidy policies and improve subsidy effectiveness; Only by leveraging the long-term role of the industrial chain can we create a ‘Chinese brand’ of agricultural machinery and equipment.
