Xingxian: drone assisted agriculture and pest control

In order to further improve the pest control of jujube forest, ensure the quality and efficiency of jujube, and increase people’s income. On May 9, Luliang Modern Agricultural Development Service Center held the launching ceremony of the pest control project of jujube forest in Lijialiang Village, the village support point, and used drones to assist in pesticide spraying of jujube forest in the area under its jurisdiction.

At the event site, operators are busy using drones to spray pesticides to prevent pests and diseases. The drone rotor generates strong downward airflow, allowing pesticides to be fully atomized and sprayed with high uniformity, thus greatly improving pesticide utilization, “said the drone operator.

Lijialiang Village is a support point for our modern agricultural development center. Today, we organized the business backbone and technical personnel of the city and county level modern agricultural development centers to use two drones to spray pest and disease control pesticides on the 2000 acre jujube forest in Lijialiang Village. We hope that through our efforts, the jujube farmers in Lijialiang Village can increase production and income, and also contribute to rural revitalization.

It is reported that there are 2000 mu of jujube economic forest in Lijialiang Village at present, and the jujube industry is gradually growing. The use of unmanned agricultural machines in the pest control of jujube trees can effectively curb the spread of pests and diseases in jujube forests, protect the healthy growth of trees, and lay a good foundation for this year’s harvest of jujube trees.

Next, the village work team of Lvliang Modern Agricultural Development Service Center will continue to practice the development concept of “comprehensively promoting rural revitalization”, cooperate with the Lijialiang Village Branch and the two committees to spray drones on jujube forests, greatly improve the level of major disease and pest prevention and control in jujube forests, ensure the quality of red jujube fruits, continuously increase efficiency of the jujube industry, and assist in rural revitalization.
