The establishment conference of the Henan Supply and Marketing Agricultural Drone Alliance and the symposium on smart agricultural services were held in Zhengzhou, marking the further expansion of the field of agricultural services in Henan Province. The era of large-scale agricultural services with drones has arrived, and the “three rural” services have been equipped with intelligent wings.
At present, agricultural production in Henan Province has entered a new stage, and the development of agricultural planting and management methods towards large-scale agriculture such as cooperatives, large grain farmers, and farms has put forward higher requirements for agricultural high-tech. With its advantages of energy conservation, efficiency, environmental protection, and intelligence, unmanned machine plant protection will become an important means of intensive agricultural production in the future. “said Liu Yansheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Council of the Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative.
According to the operation plan of the Henan Supply and Marketing Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Alliance, the alliance will develop a drone smart database as an operating platform to real-time grasp smart agricultural and forestry big data, such as the number of existing aircraft, distribution of maintenance centers, and statistics of pilot information. It will build a comprehensive network big database that integrates policy, research and development, production, sales, demand, pilot, application, and maintenance.
Liu Yansheng stated that the establishment and operation of the Henan Supply and Marketing Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Alliance is an active exploration of building an integrated supply and marketing cooperative agricultural socialized service system. By integrating upstream resources, building platforms in the middle, and jointly building networks in the downstream, key nodes of production, supply and marketing are established, achieving a one-stop service plan for new business entities and farmers.
It is understood that currently, the total number of drones in the supply and marketing cooperative system in the province is nearly 1800. In 2020, drones were used for plant protection operations, covering an area of approximately 18 million acres. After the establishment of the alliance, efforts will be made to enhance the ability of supply and marketing cooperatives to undertake service resources from agricultural departments and related organizations, and to help them build a comprehensive platform for serving agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, as well as a bridge and link between the Party and the government and the farmers.
