On the morning of June 9th, at the planting base of Tonghu Branch of Baiquan Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., amidst a roar, the Jifei P100PRO agricultural drone took off, and as it shuttled back and forth in the paddy field, a “seed rain” began to fall. By setting up agricultural drones through mobile phones, rice seeds that have completed germination are sown in the paddy field according to the established row spacing. After 20 days, they will grow into seedlings, further towards “maturity”.

According to him, since mid May, the company’s drone planting rice orders have skyrocketed every day, and currently it has accumulated 3000 acres of paddy fields for planting.

Seeing the efficient operation of mechanization while also reducing planting costs, they are happy in their hearts.

In recent years, in order to reduce the labor cost of farmers and achieve efficiency reduction, Dongxihu District of Wuhan City has made every effort to promote agricultural UAVs, no tillage fertilization precision seeders, straw returning machines and other agricultural machinery for agricultural planting, and given financial subsidies. Taking the Jifei P100PRO agricultural UAV purchased by Wuhan Xinlongyun Agriculture Co., Ltd. as an example, it costs 70000 yuan to purchase a complete set of equipment for a single UAV, After independently applying for agricultural machinery purchase subsidies through the Hubei Agricultural Machinery Subsidy APP, they received a subsidy of over 20000 yuan. As of now, the mechanization rate of grain, cotton, and oil crops in the region has reached 83%.

This summer, Dongxihu District of Wuhan City has more than 20000 mu of rice planting area, which is expected to be fully sown by the end of June. Next, the district will continue to use modern agricultural machinery to strengthen rice field management, carry out green pest prevention and control, and improve the whole process mechanized production level of rice.
