Unlike other production processes, strawberry ridge breaking and watermelon sorting have strong crop planting professionalism. Mechanized operation experiments and demonstration operations were conducted on the selected processes at the activity site. Firstly, exploration and experimentation were conducted on evaluation indicators for mechanized operations. In the process of strawberry ridge breaking, indicators such as operation depth, soil fragmentation rate, and vegetation coverage were selected; In the watermelon sorting process, indicators such as weighing accuracy, qualification rate, and loss rate were selected, and the measurement methods of indicators were studied and improved based on the specific needs of crop production professional operations. The second is to carry out technical discussions on the mechanization of strawberry and watermelon production, focusing on issues such as “appropriate mechanization requirements for plastic greenhouses with shoulders and no columns” and “the impact of turning radius of machines and tools on the operation of machines and tools in facilities”. Relevant parameters such as facility mechanization and machine suitability are studied and proposed, laying the foundation for optimizing the mechanization integration technology of strawberry and watermelon facility production in the next step; The third is to carry out observation on the operation and use of machinery, provide training to relevant technical personnel of surrounding agricultural machinery socialized service organizations and agricultural production parks, and promote the promotion and application of mechanization technology in strawberry and watermelon production.
