In the agricultural industrial park of Yaozhanzi Village, Banjiegou Town, Qitai County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, a fully automatic flour production line that processes 220 tons of raw grain per day without workers’ operation rumbled. Qitai County is the national high-quality wheat production base. Yaozhanzi Village is famous for producing high-quality wheat, known as the “wheat village”. High quality wheat is the most precious wealth bestowed on growers by nature. Today, Changji and Qitai County are established as national modern agricultural industrial parks, and Hutubi County and Jimsar County are established as autonomous regional modern agricultural industrial parks. Fifteen state-level modern agricultural industrial parks, including chickpeas and beef and mutton in Mulei County, organic wheat in Qitai County, safflower and high-quality special wheat in Jimsar County, camels and processed tomatoes in Fukang City, cotton and dairy industry in Hutubi County, seed corn and wine grapes in Manas County, are in full bloom, becoming the highland of agricultural modernization development in Changji Prefecture.

It is understood that Changji Prefecture has made it clear that modern agricultural industrial parks mainly focus on grain production should be integrated to carry out high standard farmland construction, improve public facilities such as field roads, water and electricity, and efficient water-saving irrigation devices; Modern agricultural industrial parks mainly focused on fruit and vegetable farming and livestock and poultry breeding should improve the level of facilities and equipment, strengthen the integration and application of technology, and promote the matching of good varieties and methods, as well as the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy. At the same time, we will accelerate the application of technologies such as the Internet of Things, Big data, and artificial intelligence, promote intelligent production management, and develop smart agriculture.
