On July 3, the reporter interviewed in Dingtao District Zhu Zhonghua, secretary of the CPC Dingtao District Committee, introduced to the reporter: “Dingtao District is vigorously developing the characteristic Plantation. At present, the area is stable at about 159000 mu, including 84000 mu of facility Vegetable farming planting, 43000 mu of open vegetable planting, 6000 mu of edible fungi planting, 12000 mu of rose planting, 5000 mu of salvia miltiorrhiza, isatis root and other traditional Chinese medicine planting, and 9000 mu of grape, apple, peach, pear and other forest fruit planting.
It is understood that in the process of vigorously developing the characteristic Plantation industry, Dingtao District innovatively explored a new type of foam wall steel pipe skeleton structure solar greenhouse, and promoted it in the whole district, which has achieved good results, ranking first in the province.
Wang Zhe, Director of Dingtao District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, introduced to the reporter that Dingtao District has focused on developing local famous vegetables such as watermelon in Nanwangdian Town, tomato, celery and beans in Huangdian Town, eggplant and cauliflower in Maji Town, cucumber and balsam pear in Dutang Town, pepper and kidney bean in Menghai Town, carrot and cabbage in Bandi Town.
The vegetable production in the entire region has formed a diversified production pattern that organically combines cultivation modes such as open field, plastic film coverage, arch shed, and sunlight greenhouse greenhouse. At the same time, the pace of introducing high-quality new varieties has been accelerated, forming a diversified planting structure with more than 30 varieties produced annually in 10 major categories, mainly including eggplants, fruits, melons, and vegetables, supplemented by other vegetables. Vegetable production has achieved the annual production goal of “fresh in all seasons, balanced marketing, diverse varieties, and high-quality nutrition”; Three vegetable economic uplift zones have been basically formed, including Huangdian and Dutang greenhouse vegetables, Nanwangdian early spring watermelon, Maji eggplant, Bandi, Menghai open field carrots, and cabbage. The demonstration has driven 14 characteristic industrial parks with an area of over 2000 acres, including 5 parks with an area of over 10000 acres.
