On July 5, the observation group of Chongqing Science and Technology Innovation Vocational College’s summer social practice activity “Three Visits to the Countryside”, “Smart Future”, went to Randeng Village, Jinlong Town, Yongchuan District to carry out the theme activity of “Science and technology help agriculture, promote rural revitalization”.
During the activity, the practical team of teachers and students fully utilized the professional advantages of the school’s drone application technology to conduct pesticide spraying and pest control, forest defense reconnaissance, and other operations in rice paddies and forests. They also explained to the villagers the basic structure, purpose, operation process, advantages, working environment, and purchase subsidy policies of plant protection drones. And promote the relevant policies on how to obtain a drone driving certificate and obtain a civil drone flight license to local villagers.
This activity aims to lead the transformation of traditional agriculture to smart agriculture, achieve efficient and high yield agriculture, increase farmers’ income, and use practical actions to assist in rural revitalization and construction.
