Drone transportation and digital sorting

Jiangxi, located on the southern bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is a major agricultural province in China, with abundant characteristic agricultural products. A reporter from China News Agency recently went to Shangrao City, located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, to visit the smart agriculture planted by Majiayou.

At present, Majiayou is in the period of fruit expansion. Standing around Shetou Mountain, Xitan Village, Guangfeng District, Majiayou has green branches and fruits on the tree tops, and fruit trees flow into the sky with the rolling hills.

The Xitan Orchard, which covers an area of about 7000 acres, looks no different from ordinary orchards. In fact, the orchard has invested 150 million yuan in standardized pilot transformation work, and planting management has been equipped with a ‘smart brain’ Wu Fangfang, director of Majiayou Technology Research Center, told reporters that the orchard has built an integrated intelligent irrigation system for water and fertilizer, as well as equipment for IoT monitoring.

It is reported that by creating a “one picture” visual monitoring system integrating planting scale, variety quantity and environment, the local government has built a big database of Majiayou industry, providing a basic platform for the historical data accumulation and model analysis of Majiayou, and realizing the transformation from “meeting and planting pomelo” to “intelligent and planting pomelo”.

Yao Xianwen, born in 2004, is the youngest UAV plant protection worker in Guangfeng District. After joining the Guangfeng Majiayou Association, he was responsible for UAV plant protection operations in the whole district, with an annual accumulated plant protection area of nearly 50000 mu.

It is understood that this year, the intelligent sorting volume in Guangfeng District has reached 15 million jin, accounting for 25% of the total output. At the same time, the storage capacity of the digital intelligence warehouse has reached over 2 million kilograms, and the storage volume has increased by five times, effectively extending the supply cycle. In addition, graded sales have brought tangible “dividends” to fruit farmers, with Majiayu farmers increasing their income by over 20% this year.

The full chain digital operation and management of “planting, production, supply, and sales” has driven an increase in income for 50000 local fruit farmers. At present, the sales channels of Majiayu cover large supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, fruit stores, etc., achieving exports to countries and regions such as Dubai, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, etc.
