Vegetable greenhouses have become the “golden key” to rural revitalization

In order to cultivate and strengthen the featured planting industry and featured courtyard economy, and drive the village collective economy to increase income, in recent years, Qingshan Town, Taobei District, Baicheng City, relying on the local resource advantages, combined with the characteristics of the village and the industrial foundation, has vigorously supported the development of farmers’ cooperatives and large planting households, and developed featured industries to enrich the people. At the same time, actively encourage and guide farmers to develop greenhouse planting, promote the gradual transformation of the entire village’s greenhouse film industry towards scientific planting, large-scale development, and industrial management mode, and lead villagers on the path of industrial development and prosperity.

The Qingshan Town Modern Demonstration Park, located in Liming Village, Qingshan Town, has built 93 high standard sunlight greenhouse greenhouses, with a planting area of 31.7 hectares and an annual output of 400000 tons. It solves the problem of more than 50 employment opportunities for surplus labor force, with a cumulative seasonal employment of over 800 people throughout the year, and an annual per capita income increase of over 8000 yuan.

The modern agriculture demonstration park in Qingshan Town adopts the business model of “Party organization led cooperative”, fully leveraging the leading and exemplary role of grassroots party organizations and party members. Currently, it adopts four methods: long-term contract awarding, short-term contract awarding, cooperative operation, and independent operation, mainly planting high economic value seasonal fruits and vegetables. While developing the greenhouse film economy, Qingshan Town also pays attention to exploring the income increasing space of farmers’ small courtyards. Through measures such as contract agriculture, seeking support from guarantee and assistance units, and delivering technology to households, the enthusiasm of farmers has been fully mobilized. The planting of red chili peppers in courtyards has been widely carried out, gradually achieving the small goal of “one village, one product” for stable income increase of farmers. This year, we will continue to strengthen publicity and mobilization, expand planting area, enrich planting varieties, and strive to achieve the new goal of “one town, one industry, and Common prosperity”.
