In recent years, Xixiang Town has adhered to the requirements of “building bases, extending chains, and gathering clusters”, adhered to adapting measures to local conditions and reasonable layout, integrated 270 acres of project construction land, and built a high standard Hanchuan Tandian integrated circular agriculture demonstration base for planting and breeding. 350 vegetable greenhouses and 2 standardized cow sheds have been built, and advantageous single products such as closely planted chopped celery and constant pepper have been planned to be planted. The manure fertilizer return model of “manure biogas fertilizer vegetable” has been promoted, The sustainable development of the planting and breeding system has been achieved, continuously promoting the improvement of vegetable industry quality and effectiveness.

Peppers, celery, and other varieties have a short planting cycle, low cost, and high yield, making them a “short, flat, and fast” industry that enriches the people. From seedling cultivation, planting, management, to mature harvesting, each step requires a large amount of labor, which allows local people not only to receive land transfer fees, but also labor income. Since the completion and operation of the base, Xixiang Town has actively explored the establishment of a mechanism for connecting the interests of farmers and the base, forming a new production relationship where the business entity is responsible for management and operation, and farmers are responsible for labor output. The entire base can provide 156 stable employment positions annually, and through seasonal and temporary labor, the average annual income is over 4500 yuan. Through the radiation of four capable households, it has driven 104 households in villages such as Hanchuan and Tandian to develop the vegetable industry, The average annual income of each household is over 20000 yuan, while promoting the collective income of the village to be over 150000 yuan, making the base an important support for consolidating poverty alleviation achievements and helping farmers stabilize and increase income.
