Who said that farming can only face the loess and back to the sky? With the help of “agriculture+technology”, farmers now do not have to personally go to the field and can easily achieve field management and harvest rice and wheat. In the past two days, at the “unmanned farm” in Juegang Street, Rudong County, a red and white unmanned harvester has been used to pull and cut crops, transport threshing, unload and load grains in one go, which not only has high efficiency but also reduces the loss reduction rate. We have truly achieved high-quality agricultural development and assisted in rural revitalization.
Unmanned harvesting technology is the installation of unmanned operating equipment on the basis of existing agricultural machinery to complete communication, positioning, and operation of agricultural machinery operations. By conducting route planning on a computer or mobile app, remote unmanned operations can be achieved with mobile network coverage.
Unmanned harvesting is just one part of Rudong’s “unmanned farm” smart agriculture. In addition to the harvester, all facilities on the farm, such as tractors, graders, overturning plows, transplanters, and plant protection machines, have been intelligently transformed, and a smart agricultural machinery system and crop growth supervision system have been built, truly realizing the unmanned entire process of “plowing, planting, management, and harvesting”, greatly improving the level of agricultural intelligence and operational efficiency.
It is understood that the “unmanned farm” in Rudong Juegang Street is a provincial rural reform pilot zone project undertaken by the county. At present, the core area of the project covers an area of 200 acres, and the demonstration area covers 1000 acres. Through the implementation of the project, not only has it driven the level of agricultural modernization, but also explored a new model for serving agriculture in the local area.
