Unmanned Farm in Xiong’an New Area

The vast wheat fields were filled with unmanned harvesters shuttling back and forth, and each crop of wheat was “swallowed” by the machines. In an instant, the golden patches turned into a full grain warehouse, directly ensuring the return of summer grain production particles to the warehouse. In stark contrast to traditional summer harvest scenes, “hearing only the sound of machinery and less people rushing”, using “wisdom” to press the “shortcut key” for summer harvest.

The unmanned harvester currently in operation is equipped with a “smart brain”. With the assistance of the unmanned driving system and the BeiDou navigation system, operators can easily complete tasks such as wheat field harvesting, turning around, and unloading with just one mobile phone. The harvester can operate 24 hours a day without interruption, which is an unmanned production operation mode that is all-weather, full process, and full space. In addition, the intelligent yield measurement system installed on unmanned harvesters can measure plot level yield, moisture, and other data, and use this as a reference to help achieve precise sowing and fertilization in the later stage. After harvesting wheat and sowing corn, unmanned machinery can also be used for sowing, improving the efficiency of harvesting connection and greatly improving planting accuracy.

In order to assist in the economic construction of Xiong’an New Area, further release rural labor force, and meet the future urbanization development needs of the new area, Rongcheng County has focused on promoting the construction of the Shangfeng “unmanned farm” project in Xiyeqiao Village, exploring and practicing unmanned farms. By promoting scientific management and technological production of the agricultural industry, the “two wings” fly together, not only balancing farmers’ land interests and farm operating income, but also increasing grain output per acre of land, To achieve stable production and increased income, and gradually promote the formation of a replicable, easy to promote, and highly operational “Rongcheng Model” for the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas in the new era.

The village committee of Xiyeqiao Village has organized land transfer and integrated over 3000 acres of arable land in the village. The village enterprise Fufeng Company is responsible for planning and construction, and villagers can receive an annual income of 1200 yuan per acre of land. Fufeng Company will then contract out the land to Shangfeng Farm for self-sustaining production and operation. Shangfeng Farm will hand over a profit commission of 100 yuan per acre of farmland to Fufeng Company every year. Through this management model, we can not only strengthen the collective economy of the village, but also effectively increase the income of villagers. At the same time, we have innovated new models of agricultural land transfer, large-scale operation, and investment and financing, truly achieving a win-win situation.

The farm will introduce advanced technology, equipment, and concepts into the farmland, fully realizing mechanization and intelligence. In the four main links of grain production, cultivation, management, and harvesting, unmanned, precise, and standardized intelligent agricultural machinery operations can be achieved. Compared with traditional agriculture, it can save about 80% of manpower investment and about 20% of agricultural inputs. Each acre of land can increase grain production by over 100 kilograms per year, truly achieving high-quality development of agricultural production and laying a solid foundation for rural revitalization strategy.
