Recently, in order to address the uneven fertilization situation, the Agricultural and Rural Service Center of Shaqiao Town, Nanhua County assisted the County Agricultural and Rural Bureau in organizing planting households to carry out drone fertilization work, allowing high-tech machinery to assist in increasing agricultural efficiency and farmers’ income.
The Agricultural and Rural Service Center of Shaqiao Town has shifted the focus of agricultural production to field management. Technical personnel have gone deep into the front line to guide planters in scientific and reasonable fertilization, mixing, loading, takeoff, spraying… With skilled remote control command from technical personnel, accompanied by a rapid “buzzing” sound, a drone filled with mixed fertilizer liquid rises into the air, flying straight and uniformly along the corn field, spraying the foggy compound fertilizer liquid from the body onto the field, Send a “nutritious meal” to the corn seedlings in the field.
There are a total of 5 drones of different models participating in the fertilization operation, each capable of carrying approximately 30 to 60 kilograms of fertilizer solution. Li Dajie, a planter from the Li family group of the Tianxin Village Committee in Shaqiao Town, happily said, “According to the past, manual spraying took four to five days to complete in these areas of our house, and the spraying was uneven. Nowadays, drone operations only take two hours to complete, spraying evenly, saving labor and time, and also reducing trampling on seedlings. While saving production costs, it effectively improves the quality and efficiency of operations.
The efficiency of drone fertilization operation is more than 30 times that of manual operation. A drone can spray 50 to 60 acres per hour, improving work efficiency while reducing the production intensity and production costs of planters. At present, 14 village committees and 64 village groups in Shaqiao Town have basically used drone spraying and fertilization on 5000 acres of corn and rice, laying a solid foundation for high grain yield and increased income for farmers.
