Based on technology empowerment, Baizehu Township in Yixiu District, Anqing City strengthens science popularization and publicity, constructs the Dafeng Circular Agriculture Technology Demonstration Park and Huangshi Modern Agriculture Greenhouse Vegetable Industry Park with high standards, promotes the development of smart agriculture, expands the channels for increasing villagers’ income, and develops and strengthens the village level collective economy.
Bai Zehu Township has established a high standard circular agriculture technology demonstration park, built a factory water runway fish breeding base, adopted digital intelligent equipment for the breeding of Australian freshwater lobster seedlings, promoted natural water surface soilless cultivation of aquatic vegetables and other crop technologies, and made every effort to build a fish base, shrimp base, and aquatic vegetable base, achieving a water source system for fish manure and vegetable cultivation, vegetable purification water for fish farming, and fish vegetable symbiosis. In the Dafeng Circular Agriculture Technology Demonstration Park in Baizehu Township, industries such as “in vitro incubation of Australian freshwater crayfish,” “domestication of feed mandarin fish fry,” “fish farming on runways,” and “rotating floating islands with wind energy on water” have formed a complete ecological cycle chain, exploring a green, high-quality, and efficient new path for the development of ecological fisheries.
In the modern agricultural greenhouse vegetable industrial park in Huangshi Village, Baizehu Township, equipment such as seedling stable control system and integrated water and fertilizer system are equipped with “technological models”, and soilless cultivation technology is refreshing. In the seedling breeding base, the entire 6-acre seedling greenhouse is equipped with a geothermal system. One end of the seedbed is equipped with a temperature controller, and below the seedbed is a temperature sensor, with ground heating wires laid one after another. The geothermal system will automatically adjust the temperature of the seedbed to meet the conditions for seedling cultivation. The base also utilizes an integrated water and fertilizer system, which can accurately spray, control various parameters, and save labor. In addition, the park also explores the use of soilless cultivation techniques.
The township has also strengthened science popularization and carried out scientific and technological volunteer service activities such as agricultural field classrooms and expert industry consultations, promoting knowledge of agricultural technology and practical techniques for agricultural animal husbandry and breeding, introducing experiences and practices such as science popularization services and the combination of planting and breeding, and promoting planting techniques for agricultural products such as vegetables and fruits in greenhouses, effectively improving farmers’ scientific literacy and promoting ecological development.
