After intense competition in the preliminary and final on-site roadshows and expert defense sessions, 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 10 third prizes, and 20 outstanding awards were ultimately selected.
5G empowering digital rural revitalization is showing vigorous vitality and becoming a key force in promoting the development of agricultural and rural digital economy. “Zheng Min, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangxi Agricultural Technology Promotion Center, introduced that the purpose of organizing this agricultural industry competition is to benchmark the national advanced demonstration, develop and select a group of representative, replicable, and promotable 5G agricultural application scenarios, from point to area, Further promote the accelerated penetration of 5G technology in the agricultural and rural areas of the province, create rich application scenarios with strong applicability, high reliability, and good market prospects for digital agriculture and rural areas in the province, support the innovation and upgrading of the entire agricultural industry chain, and promote rural revitalization in Jiangxi at a high level, empowering and assisting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
It is reported that the theme of this industry competition is “5G Sailing to Draw Jiangxi and Poyang, Digital Intelligence Empowering the Revitalization of Agriculture, Countryside, and Countryside”. Since its official launch in July, a total of 188 application projects have been collected (including 133 effective projects), ranking among the top 19 industry tracks in the province in terms of collection quantity, covering the application scenarios of 5G in agricultural industry management, agricultural production, agricultural machinery, agricultural socialized services, rural governance, and other fields.
