Xinmin City Holds the First Agricultural UAV Navigation Conference

On September 21st, the series of activities organized by the Xinmin Municipal Party Committee and Government to celebrate the “Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival” and the first digital rural agricultural drone flight conference in Xinmin City opened in Jiawobao Township, Xinmin City.
This event aims to promote the entry of modern agricultural machinery into rural areas, serve agriculture, and benefit farmers, promote the transformation of the modern agricultural service system towards intensification, precision, intelligence, and digitization, accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, and help Xinmin City achieve the development goal of “building a demonstration city for implementing the rural revitalization strategy and sprinting towards the top 100 counties in the country” as soon as possible.

This aviation conference includes four main contents: “One Opening, Two Observations, Four Discussions, and Three Observations”: namely, opening the “New Route” of agricultural modernization in Xinmin City with an exciting launching ceremony; Through drone performances and the “Watching the New People from the Sky” exhibition, we will lead everyone from the perspective of birds to shuttle through key cultural and tourism attractions such as the San Nong Expo Park, Xixi Lake Wetland, and Yangxi Muhe, and experience the new music of rural revitalization in Xinmin City; The Xinmin City UAV, which gathers experts, helps revitalize the New Agriculture Forum, popularizes the application of drone technology in agricultural production, flood control and disaster relief, ecological environmental protection, and other fields, opening up a new way for technology to stabilize and enrich grain production; The conference also showcases the drone industry exhibition, rural revitalization achievement exhibition, and Xinmin City plant protection drone flying skills competition, conveying the new concept that agricultural drones are becoming the “new standard” of modern agriculture, and allowing drone technology to enter ordinary farmers’ homes. At the same time, taking advantage of the beautiful opportunity of the “Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival”, we will showcase the new vitality and hope that Xinmin City has unleashed in promoting the rural revitalization strategy.

As a national agricultural modernization demonstration zone, Xinmin City’s grain production has remained stable at over 2 billion catties annually, ranking among the top three in the province. The vast and concentrated farmland has brought inherent advantages to agricultural mechanization. Xinmin City takes this aviation conference as an opportunity to build a carrier platform for drone technology to serve agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, coordinate and promote drone purchase subsidies, drone plant protection services, drone skill training, and actively promote strategic cooperation.

The Liaoning UAV Industry Association has specially awarded the plaque “Xinmin Plant Protection UAV Training Base” to the Xinmin Plant Protection UAV Association, providing convenient conditions for the promotion, popularization, and landing application of plant protection drones. The Liaoning Provincial Air Transport Association and Xinmin City’s unmanned aerial vehicle industry strategic cooperation project, the “remote sensing+drone technology” empowering high-quality development project of agricultural insurance, the Xinmin Plant Protection UAV demonstration base project, the second phase of the China Chemical MAP new center project, and the Huida Agricultural Plant Protection UAV sales agency have all signed contracts at the same time to strengthen cooperation and accelerate the pace of “digital agriculture” in Xinmin City.
