Raising sheep in rural areas is a good investment. The price of mutton has risen steadily in the past two years, with fertile rural land and abundant feed. The initial investment is mainly to sell sheep and build sheep houses, which requires a lot of capital, but the capital return of at least 1-2 years is under great pressure. What can we choose to do for a living?
If the land is transferable, you can contract for more acres. This is the way I most recommend feeding, because if we can contract a lot of land, we can solve the winter roughage problem for sheep. Second, they can solve the usual problems of temperature protection.
In addition, by raising and growing at home full time, we can also learn more about the diseases of sheep, which is very helpful in getting us through the novice period. It really kills two birds with one stone.
If you can, and not on a large scale, you can have your parents take care of it and go to work yourself. Now, that’s what’s going on in my family. Our family has been breeding for two years, but it’s not very big. Raising a large family is still impossible, but it can be maintained by feeding one or two people. Therefore, I still work in the factory to support my small family. My parents are raising sheep.
Our goal is to wait until the sheep have formed a scale, and then I quit my job to go home and raise sheep full time, which can reduce the burden on my parents. Personally, I feel that if my parents have nothing to do at home, they can do this.
You can raise other animals to increase your income. Take our family for example, we have no income from sheep farming for more than a year. So we caught some local chickens, about 1,000 of them started laying eggs after seven months, and then we earned more than 200 yuan a day. Excluding the cost of raising chickens, our daily expenses are sufficient.
It must be noted that chickens and sheep have many parasites in their bodies at the same time, so they must be separated. On the other hand, raising chickens also requires certain skills, and must be prepared psychologically.
You can also consider doing other things to earn money, such as setting up a stall in a large market. As for what to sell, there are plenty of things to sell, starting with household produce. Then you can sell some daily necessities, you can set up a stall to sell vegetables and fruits.
In short, you must be selling something that people use a lot in their lives, or sell something consumable in their lives. This way, the goods you buy will be sold quickly, and you can use the money from the stand to subsidize your family.
In the countryside, you can also choose to do we-media, shoot rural videos, three aunties and eight aunties things, dance in the square and catch fish in the pit, etc. A series of videos can also bring in some revenue for fans, but I don’t recommend it. We also invest a lot of time in the media, which is very demanding and requires a certain basis in literature. If you do video we media, you also have to edit and so on. The success cycle of “we media” is also very long, and it is not easy to become popular.
But since you have chosen breeding, you must accept the long-term profit cycle of breeding. That’s what everybody does. In the countryside, there are plenty of jobs to earn a living, and some jobs you have to explore on your own.
