In recent years, Jiaohe City has firmly implemented the strategy of “storing grain in the ground and storing grain in technology”, comprehensively consolidating the foundation of food security, and accelerating the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. This year, they actively constructed a modern agricultural industrial park project with an area of 10000 acres, fully leveraging the leading and driving role of local government policies, resource advantages, and state-owned capital in serving the national strategy. By transferring land management rights, they constructed high standard paddy fields that can be centrally connected and operated on a large scale, thereby achieving the goal of promoting agricultural cooperation, increasing enterprise efficiency, and increasing financial income.

The industrial park project is implemented by Jilin State owned Capital Development Holding Group Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 130 million yuan. The construction sites cover Tianbei Town, Tiangang Town, Henan Street, and Xinnong Street. The project is led by the “One Hundred Billion catties of Grain” production capacity construction project in Jilin Province, focusing on creating demonstration zones for farmland protection, modern agriculture, the entire agricultural product industry chain, and the integrated development of rural primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, aiming to lead the province’s rural revitalization and modern agricultural development in the future.

In the field of the industrial park, the harvester drove past the golden rice field, and the rice tilted down from the harvester’s pipeline, filling the roadside transport vehicles. Transport vehicles transport grain to the drying tower in Yongjin Village, Tianbei Town for drying, and then transfer it to the Tianbei Grain Depot for storage.

When it comes to this year’s bumper harvest, Liu Weigang said that the industrial park has achieved full mechanization, scale, and standardized production from spring planting to autumn harvest this year; Strengthen field management by applying pesticides and fertilizers to different varieties; This year’s late frost and long growth period fully meet the growth needs of rice flower fragrance, a relatively long growing variety.

The Tianbei Grain Depot has been idle for nearly seven years and has been rented by the industrial park for a price of 20000 yuan this year. After maintenance, it has been put into use. The industrial park employs local farmers throughout the transportation, drying, and storage of rice, with a daily salary of between 200 and 400 yuan per person. In the first harvest season of this year, the industrial park’s salary expenditure reached over 200000 yuan.
