Recently, China Mobile Internet of Things Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Mobile Internet of Things”) collaborated with Jiangxi Mobile to build a 5G+smart agricultural Internet of Things cloud platform for Jiangxi Green Energy Agricultural Development Company (hereinafter referred to as “Green Energy Company”), solve agricultural production and operation problems, and help it improve its agricultural modernization level.
The 5G+smart agriculture IoT cloud platform is based on high standard farmland to build an agricultural database. By connecting with IoT devices such as drones and agricultural machinery autonomous driving devices, it realizes data visualization of smart agriculture systems and intelligent management of cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting processes. Management personnel can obtain farm data from the command center, grasp the on-site personnel, machinery, materials, resources, and agricultural conditions. The cloud platform also constructs a planting knowledge base through a socialized service platform, achieving online services for agricultural materials and machinery, and promoting information exchange between enterprises and farmers. At the same time, the cloud platform also utilizes data visualization technology to innovate agricultural models, achieving full lifecycle management of grains from seeds to commodities.
Green Energy Company is an agricultural enterprise engaged in agricultural development and land transfer, rice planting, planting technology research, and high-quality grain deep processing. As of now, the smart agriculture cloud platform has implemented drone spraying on 202000 acres of farmland served by Green Energy Company, reducing the cost of manual spraying agriculture from 3.6 yuan/person/mu to 0.6 yuan/person/mu. Based on the data provided by the cloud platform, customers can analyze the basic situation of seedlings, improve the efficiency of manual seedling replacement, reduce the cost of seedling replacement by 30%, achieve precise operation with a self driving instrument, and reduce fuel consumption costs by 20%. The cloud platform can also conduct pest and disease analysis for specific areas, thereby achieving drone variable spraying, reducing pesticide usage by 30%, and fertilizer usage by 20%
Since its implementation, the 5G+smart agricultural IoT cloud platform has effectively improved agricultural production efficiency, reduced labor costs, improved the ability level of social service organizations, increased the income of production and operation entities, and assisted in the development of green agricultural production. The morning and evening are bright, and the future is foreseeable.
