Yellow rice, busy autumn harvest. On the morning of October 28th, the 11th season themed activity of “Taking Dad to Farm” was held at the Zhoujing Village Base in Waigang Town, Jiading District’s Digital Unmanned Farm. 48 groups of families followed the fragrance of rice to 10000 acres of fertile land, experiencing agricultural culture in “Jia” Township of Hemei, and gathering wisdom to create a beautiful “abundant” scenery.
In the eyes of children, rice fields are beautiful golden plants, narrow fields and paths, and the harvest season in the text. Today’s rice harvesting starts with understanding traditional agricultural tools. Wearing straw hats and gloves, the children, with the help of the old farmer and their parents, busily shuttle through the fields, using the most traditional harvesting methods to experience the hardships of farming firsthand. Today, I finally experienced firsthand what ‘sweat dripping down the soil’ means and understood what ‘every grain is hard’! This field class made my new partner Zhu Yihan feel ‘meaningful’ and also made the parents who participated in it speak out ‘very real’.
The nearby Daoxiang Market has also undergone “upgrading and renovation” this season. With the sound of the ancient zither, you can not only take pictures in the fields with hand made fan paintings and dressed in Han suits, but also experience the traditional crafts of making Wonton and pancakes.
With the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the theme activity of “Taking Dad to Farm” continues to enrich its connotation. It not only vividly restores the agricultural scene and rural life, but also actively integrates elements such as red resources, traditional intangible cultural heritage, cultural tourism, intelligent technology, etc., attracting groups such as “urban people”, “corporate people”, and “family treasures” to “return” to the countryside, while retaining nostalgia in their memories While experiencing the spiritual infiltration of traditional agricultural culture, we also deeply appreciate the high-quality development and cultural charm of Waigang.
At the event, Cai Lijin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Waigang Town, and Wang Qiuxiao, Deputy Mayor of Waigang Town, presented medals and key enterprise “service packages” to the five units that had just been awarded the “Small Giant Enterprise of Jiading District”.
