Deyang Luojiang: Mechanization Assists High Quality Development of Seed Production

Through theoretical and case studies, as well as practical machine operations, the operating principles and processes of the rapeseed seedling raising assembly line and the rapeseed blanket seedling combined transplanting machine were introduced in detail, and mechanical transplanting was demonstrated on-site.

As the joint transplanting machine moved back and forth, the rapeseed blanket shaped seedlings in the machine tray quickly filled the fields neatly, and the precise and efficient technology attracted applause from on-site observers.

The full mechanization of rapeseed seed production is the trend of industrial development, “said the relevant person in charge of the Rural Revitalization and Development Service Center of the Luojiang District Agriculture and Rural Bureau. In the near future, the full mechanization of rapeseed seed production will bloom everywhere in Luojiang.

It is understood that Luojiang District is currently conducting experiments and demonstrations to deepen the development process of rapeseed seed production mechanization, assisting in the construction of the “National Seed Production Base” and “Tianfu Vegetable Oil” bases, promoting rural revitalization and increasing farmers’ income, and laying a solid foundation for the seed industry to build a higher level “Tianfu Grain Warehouse” in the new era.

Through the full process mechanization of seed production, a large amount of labor costs can be reduced and the production efficiency can be increased. “The relevant person in charge of the seed station of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Luojiang District expressed the hope that through this experimental demonstration, more people can see the maturity of the full process mechanization technology of rapeseed seed production, thereby benefiting more people.
