On November 3rd, the reporter learned from the press conference of the 9th China Langshan Umbilical Orange Culture and Tourism Festival “Romantic Langshan · Orange Italy Xinning” that Xinning County has determined that the opening date of Langshan Umbilical Orange in 2023 will be November 18th.

Xinning County is located in the southwest of Hunan Province and is currently one of the four major export base counties for navel oranges in China and one of the key counties for the production of navel oranges in the national citrus industry. The locally produced Langshan navel oranges are exported to more than 40 countries and regions such as Russia, the European Union, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Macao.

Langshan navel orange has been awarded the Top 100 Most Popular Regional Public Brands for Fruit Products in China, a well-known agricultural product brand in central China, and one of the first “One County, One Special” excellent agricultural product brands in Hunan Province. It is a national geographical indication protected agricultural product.
