Navel Orange Industry Helps Rural Revitalization

At present, navel oranges in Luodian County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province are gradually maturing and going public. At various navel orange planting bases, fruit farmers are busy picking, transporting, sorting, framing, and loading to supply market demand.

In recent years, Luodian County has optimized the agricultural industrial structure, introduced multiple preferential policies for farmers, and encouraged and supported the active participation of the masses in the development of navel orange cultivation. Adopting a development model of “company+base+farmers”, combined with online and offline sales, to attract local labor force to participate in navel orange planting management and processing sales, drive employment and income growth for the masses, and assist in rural revitalization. In 2023, the planting area of navel oranges in Luodian County reached 34700 mu, with a production area of 29000 mu and an estimated output of 41800 tons and a value of 335 million yuan. The navel orange industry has become a green and prosperous industry in Luodian.
