3200 mu Gannan navel orange sweet mining

On November 1st, the orchards in Rongjiang New District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province were exceptionally busy, with tempting flavors throughout the mountains and fields, filled with the aroma of oranges and the joy of harvest.

Under clear sky, in the Chenchen Ecological Agricultural Orchard in Longtang Village, Tankou Town, emerald green navel orange fruit trees adorn the hillside, extending from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. In the orchard, orange fruits hang heavily on the branches, outlining a beautiful autumn harvest amidst the mountains.

This year, under the careful management of fruit farmers, navel oranges have grown well and their flesh is full. As a senior fruit grower in the local area, Wang Zhenzhen said, “The navel oranges I planted have a total of 60 acres. This year, there has been abundant rainfall, and the navel oranges are growing well with full flesh. The yield per acre is around 3000 kilograms

In the Erbao Ecological Agricultural Orchard of Longtang Village, tourists are experiencing the joy of picking. Wu Minna, from Sanya, Hainan, is a student at Gannan Medical College. Today, she and several classmates came to the orchard in Longtang Village to pick navel oranges. The first time she saw a navel orange tree full of fruits, she looked a bit excited. I have long heard that Gannan navel oranges are very famous. This is my first time picking them in the orchard. The oranges are big and fragrant, and I just tasted them. They are tender and crumbling, and the juice in my mouth is very sweet. I am planning to mail some back to my parents to taste.

It is understood that the Rongjiang New Area in Ganzhou currently has a planting area of 3200 acres of navel oranges, with an estimated output of 4000 tons this year and an annual output value of about 30 million yuan. Orchards are sold through a combination of online and offline sales, using unified packaging, brand, and specification standards to sell Gannan navel oranges throughout the country.

Most of our navel orange orchards are located in beautiful southern villages, and the soil is very suitable for growing navel oranges. Since the construction of the rural main road network of the ‘One Ring, Three Verticals’ in the southern villages, transportation has been very convenient. After each orchard is mined every year, there is a continuous stream of tourists from the surrounding areas who come to experience picking. It can be said that the fruit is not worried about sales, and small navel oranges have become our’ wealth fruit ‘
