At the plant protection drone “fly-seeding” site, technicians debugged various parameters of the plant protection drone, put the rapeseed seeds prepared in advance into the plant protection drone’s planting warehouse, and then operated the plant protection drone to slowly take off. The sprinkler head at the bottom of the plant protection drone spreads rapeseed seeds evenly into the field. In one and a half hours, more than 100 acres of rapeseed were sown.

“This is the latest drone at present, with a load capacity of up to 50 kilograms, and the sowing process is very precise, no corner will be missed.” said Miao Hui, drone operator at Yunnan Wangsui Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. According to reports, such a drone can sow 250 to 300 acres a day, which is equivalent to the work of 30 to 40 people. It has the characteristics of fast operation time, low cost and high efficiency.

This year, the Luoping County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department insisted on early planning, early deployment, and early action, sending agricultural technicians to various places to conduct technical training and guidance, and organizing agricultural machinery to go to the fields to plant rapeseed. At present, the sowing of rapeseed on one million acres is nearing completion.
