From the popular aerial photography live broadcast a few years ago, to now widely used in logistics, plant protection, security, mapping and other fields, civil drones are no longer novel. According to public data, by the end of 2020, China had 558,000 registered users of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with a total of 517,000 UAVs registered, with a market size of nearly 60 billion yuan, forming a potential to break the circle. So how much does a drone cost?
The different functional bias used in the field will be different, the volume, power, environmental requirements are also different, then the price will be different.
1. Transportation
Drones also represent a huge promise for the transportation industry, where the technology is expected to replace $2,020 in human and business services worth about $13 billion.
This is partly due to the innovation of flying taxis, with several companies exploring the technology with plans to launch two-seat driverless taxis.
2, entertainment,
In addition to providing practical applications, drones are also being invested as a form of entertainment. British Sky Broadcasting, known as a broadcasting giant, recently announced a $1 million investment in the drone Racing League.
Eurosport and Fox Sports have also seen the potential of this new technology sport, which involves drone pilots racing over high-speed obstacle courses, and are actively preparing and participating in it.
4, agriculture
Drones are already being used in agriculture to help monitor vast fields, analyse soil samples and even graze cattle, sheep and more. The use of drones in agriculture could expand further in the future, with researchers currently working on insect-sized drones in Japan.
5. Search and rescue
There have been reports that a drone saved two swimmers in Australia. A similar “lifeguard drone” is also being trialled in New Zealand, which will help spot surfers at risk and help them with flotation devices.
6. Home security
While the use of drones for military security is well known, one technology company Lab has also introduced drones to the home security market and is currently testing their drones to protect homes.
So the price of the UAV or mainly depends on the use and configuration, the higher the price is definitely the better the performance.
